"This is our home, this is the future, and we're secure. JOY will be one of 15 resident organisations that have found a new home at the centre, including the Australian Queer Archives, Melbourne Queer Film Festival and the Monash Health Gender Clinic. "We had to have a home where we could engage with our community a lot easier and we would feel not just physically safe, but that we weren't going to have to move - and that is the enduring legacy of this building."
